King queen and corruption

It was very complicated story altogether. Nation was virtually gasping under foreign invasion for nearly 150 years. Peoples from all walks of life and people of all corners of country are throwing themselves to unsettle the foreign rulers. In the mean time nation has got a leader who influenced majority of people by unconventional style of movement. But there were vast number of people who did not agree to his method, they thought this method is pushing ahead the date of independence. Rulers are getting too comfortable with the movement. So armed revolution grew up in every corner of the country. There were hundreds of people who can give life for nation. But tactics of one individual hurt the rulers the most, when he formed nation’s own army to dislodge foreign rulers. One man in the traditional camp got very worried. Since he had already started dating wife of the key man of foreign camp to ensure he becomes leader when nation got independence. Fortunately the fiercest opponent of his died in plane crash in dubious circumstances. Rulers ensured that the nation is divided in 3 parts and lose thousands of life by fighting with each other. So finally Nation got independence and the man who always cherished to be leader of the independent country fulfilled his dream.

But he was an excellent orator & writer but had not nurtured any vision. He continued to make series of mistakes from making constitution in foreign style to indecisiveness on separatist movement. He died soon but he presented the nation first queen of the nation.. She virtually became first follower of communist theories. She brought all key institution from finance to infrastructure under government jurisdiction. When she attacked one neighboring country to free them from atrocities, even opposition of the nation termed her as Devi Durga. But people who got job in key public sectors made her life miserable by their attitude towards work and demand to hike pay structure. Nation got hugely undisciplined & anarchy reflected all sectors. Queen had two sons, elder one had no ambition in politics but in aviation but the junior one was ambitious. He proposed mother to impose strict laws to remove indiscipline. Mother obliges and the nation started burning. Queen lost power & threw the young one from power to win heart of the people. She eventually regained power but made the elder son who was least interested in politics her commandant..

This was particularly a synopsis of why the that country,i.e India became most corrupt nation in the time of queen’s son..Nationalisation brought strike and reduced productivity of the country. Abandoning communists the queen started to make US as friend.  She ordered big for defense to other western countries. Suddenly queen was killed.. Inefficient son took over. Union Carbide killed almost half of a city capital but the son arranged safe passage for the official by country owned chartered plane. Predictably huge fund transferred under the carpet. Seeing opportunity foreign relatives and brother in laws started coming to India to make huge business, Quotrochi ensured to make money for his brother in law and himself for 2 generations. But He also ensured his brother in law loses power. Country was going into deep water on the other hand huge money was flown out to western banks as black money. Then Manmohan Singh came, a friend of US to stabilize economy. He overthrew old principles of his party and started selling all assets of Indiato foreign and private parties. By doing so he restored economy of the country a fair bit. He could have sold everything but he could not sell nationalized sectors due to opposition from his own party. & others. To keep media out of investigation he employed people like Hasan Ali,Mira Radia like negotiators. The more economy of country strengthened more funds in the form of black money ensured. Opposition started shouting for enquiry but he became desperate to stay in the power by bribing MPs & not allowing even parliament session to run. By virtue of money power he started even purchasing opportunist opposition MPs to vote against Public Accounts committee head so that nobody can enquire about him. All the investigators knew how the black money was generating through Hasan Ali but the PM was desperate to shield him.

But Judiciary jumped in the middle of huge corruption & said that they will monitor the investigating agencies and not the government. The “honesty” of Manmohan Singh started to get unmasked. Wikileaks has revealed that there is huge number of Indians in Swiss bank accounts but Pranab Mukherjii the Finance Minister of India was desperate not to tell the names. It was clear by then,FM who is associated with party during queen’s era knows if he disclose his party will be whitewashed. The nation is now most corrupt country. Authorities even ensure to unseal account of Quotrochi in our previous rulers country and the money got vanished within hour of doing so. Hassan Ali first disclosed name of Mr.Shahrukh Khan as his close associate but the filmstar not even questioned by ED. Ali’s associate,Tapariah,  arrested fro Kolkata. He has disclosed major players of the ruling party and their so called associates were in touch of their acts. He has named Jagdish Tytler,Renuka Choudhury,Suresh Kalmadi & Jayaprada. Probably he has not named key persons yet. He is only threatening ED to disclose more names if he is not allowed to go free. All these incidents we are watching today is a sequence of events started from queens time. Need of the hour is to remove them from power from all regions to get all blackmoney.But the way Manmohan is using the blackmoney to stay in power only saying that he will continue to fool people many more years.

Nation has seen huge response to anticorruption drive of Mr.Anna Hazare. While Congress’s old friend Birlas and corporates like Tatas praising Gujrat for dynamism to lead industrialization, He was forced to say the truth about honesty in bureaucracy of Gujrat. Last few days we have seen that movement is also purchased by the Government. Now there is need to launch another anticorruption movement.Where this is leading to? Will we continue to get suffocated as long as we leave?

Remembering Kazi Nazrul

Above lines were written by Nazrul Islam on remembering Kobiguru after poet’s death in poem “Robi-Hara”.Nazrul Islam was commoner. When he was the inspiration of most freedom fighters in Bengal, sometimes many compared his versatile efforts with Rabindranath Thakur. Even Netaji had to digest his rebuke when Netaji tried to project his role in freedom struggle equivalent to Rabindranath. Nazrul was Rabindranath’s biggest follower ever. But he always resisted temptation to follow Kobiguru in writing. His method & style was always unique & completely different..When Rabindranath wrote “Aji hote shotoborsho pore

ke tumi poricho boshe amar kobitakhani”

(Who are you reading my poem hundred years after me) he wrote “Toma hote shotoborsho pore

( Rulers of the half the world is mesmerized by four youth).He was true cosmopolitan in nature. He was knowledgeable in Hindu culture and so in Muslim culture. So it always better not to call him Hindu or Muslim but a true Bengali. He wrote about Khaled,

Amulya Ratan

"Jekhane dekhibe chai,uraia dekho tai,paileo paite paro amulya ratan" I think all bengalis knows about this line which inspire youth to do new things. Which says to try all work and it must bring your success.Our politics nowadays in Bengal is probably averse to this old writing.Why not?The voters of Bengal have given them right to try only old methods of appeasement politics but not poking nose into development politics. The way the CM called Mr.Ratan Tata as "TataBabu" in a comical tone in a press conference just after incarnation is enough to project her to the industrial world that she will be expectedly an anti industrilisation Govt. She is proving to be more communist than anybody.She has seen only appeasing state Govt employees how Jyoti Basu ruled for 30 years despite of not bringing any investment to the state. But when MrBhattacharya told them to work how he was thrown apart. She declared that all Government employee teachers will get salary on first of every month from July.They were getting that on 10th earlier. She never told that that they will have to go school regularly and teach students regularly.That is not required at all. Expectedly the reaction from the teachers are euphoric. They will give good bites to the TV channels who were bribed before the election. Now people of should ask what benifit that will make to our Society? Will that inspire them to go regularly to the school and teach poor and bright students after school hours,taking extra care for the needy weaker section? Not at all they will come as usual late in casual manner,since they had to teach student by taking hefty money in their respective homes. If one look into those teachers they are the most black money generator in the society. They earn lacs without giving a single paisa tax to the nation earned from the tution. Instead of declaring 10 days advancement of their salary they should have been banned from taking tution.Otherwise it should have been mandatory to take fees only by check.You can not bribe people who are destroying nations economics. Time has come teachers and doctors earn legally and pay tax to the government otherwise these opportunist Government will ruin the the nation by appeasing them. These appeasement are used as weapons to remain in power.There is a Mosque behind our Kolkata airport where no Namaj is offered for more than 15 years.Muslim clerics say that it is in Islam,if you do not offer prayer in a particular place,that place is abandoned & not suitable for any rituals in future. But our Left Government as well as congress led central Government could not demolish the mosque to spread our airport. It is for the reason several countries have stopped their aircrafts directly to Kolkata. How long these dirty politics will continue which inspire industrialists not to come in Bengal for investments. People like Narendra Modi has demolished over 200 Mandirs in and around Ahmedabad to build roads and infrastructure. Neither any secular force condemned the act neither people of Ahmedabad organised protests. They know what Narendra Modi is doing is doing for the betterment of the state.
I only request politicians of Bengal to stop appeasement politics.Be it minority or Government officers.Think about the state of your state.Unemployment is growing and government jobs are diminishing. It is time time to make this state industrial to generate employment of poors. Bengal is 30 years backwards from any other state . Once it was capital of India. Take every opportunity to bring business in state but sadly looking at your attitude it seems you are determined to push the state 60 year backwards than other state.
I wonder why people of Bengal should not be inspired by the people of Gujrat soon.It is wake up call for next generation.

Honeymoon

Honeymoon is a word is associated with lifestyle of most human being.It is associated with love,it is associated with emotion.I remember my childhood friend Parthasarathi and Anita,who are in love when I used to wear half pant.I literally did not know what the meaning of love at that time. But they were so mad that they move around hand in hand in every places where we used to play and move around. So their honeymoon started much before they even thought to get married. Eventually they got married and still they enjoy honeymoon in every fortnight as they love to travel. My Mezda retired 4 years back from Maneil & Magor.Every year he travels Europe with wife.This is also a true romanticism. My other brother Sezda also moves around getting break from his business very often and exhibit his loyalty to his life-partner. These are true pictures of adorable emotions which gets my attention.
I find these honeymoons is spreading in the politics of Bengal as well. Somen Mitra,once a strong congressman who was instrumental to kick Mamata out of congress got married very late in his life. Sabitri was his localite ,never thought of getting into politics.Getting married to an much older guy she was keen to be a housewife. Suddenly Somen got the same medicine from Congress which he made Mamata to swallow from Congress as well. We had heard story of Sabitri & Satyaban in our child hood.This Sabitri of modern era did the act of impossible to elongate his husbands political career. She invited Mamata for a dinner at Amherst street house in Kolkata. But Sabitri kept herself limited to he kitchen and homely affairs only. She ensured Somen gets a key post in party. Somen contested Loksabha and won from Diamondharbour constituency.Somen took unusual calmness for a congress worker and showed no intention to grab a ministerial chair at center. He also made sure he visits very rarely his constituency. I thought due to his high sugar level he has taken back seat. But now I understand it is actually Somen-Sabiti story of love. He was actually making sure that his wife gets a ticket in Assembly election.Most suprisingly the woman with least experience in politics gets an important birth in Mamata’s cabinet.Is this honeymoon is justified to lakhs and crores  workers of Trinamool congress? People who are working day & night for the party are getting bullets.The people who are instituting this massacre with Mr.Jyoti Basu is getting cabinet birth in the cabinet.I am talking about Mr.Manish Gupta.People who has no history of struggle getting ministry only because of she is wife of a old leader,who has also joined party recently? How these workers will not feel that they are betrayed in the period of party’s honeymoon when they had loved party in difficult times?
Whatever the leader of the party does has a connection with NDA. When Bajpayee made her Railway minister he met a person called Mr.Gautam Sanyal. She was in mid fortys at that time. That person became very trustworthy of the leader. They were almost of the same age-group. Some relation worked out & the person was made OSD in UPAII when she was appointed Railway minister. Now the person is on the verge of retirement.He is getting retired in September. Mamata is ensuring this person stays with her in coming five years by offering a special post. He is not even a IPS or IFS or IAS. It is unprecedented love for one person and never happened in history of India that a group II central cadre is getting a post which group one cadres don’t dream to get. It is really a dream honeymoon.I am not adverse of giving prize for dedication,but what logic can be used to bring a man of lower qualification from outside when lakhs of workers are betrayed and deprived of job by left in past 34 years. It is highly disappointing.
She said of Sachchar report for minorities,but never said why the so called secular forces are lagging behing in the development of minorities,whereas secular forces toppintg the list in Gujrat? She mentioned interlinking of river,which was a dream projecto fof NDA and was stopped by the UPA when came to power.Interlinking can not be done by the state level as it is associated with other states. So Mamatas honeymoon in playing with the issues which she does not know key issues and solution of the state. It should be reminded that BJPs MP Tapan Sikdar contributed hugely for interlinking and modernising Nalas of Kolkata.But it was her party stopped the work,wasting crores of Taxpayer’s money.So one day they stop work ,on the other day dig up same issue. I am afraid people are listening you only as you are in honeymoon.

Ulanga Raja

“Ekbar Matir dike takao,ekbar Manusher dike” Once you see towards the soil and then to the people. It was written by great poet Birendra Chattopadhyay. The kind of politics originated in India in last ten years only revolves around soil. While the population increasing, necessities and priorities changing in India. So Endeavor for industrialization was imminent. But the leaders who took initiatives opposition reminded them the above line. It started in Andhra Pradesh.Mr.Chandrababu Naidu changed the entire industrial Map of the state. Vishakhapattanam got a flurry of business, so go Hyderabad. The kind of change these two cities got is unimaginable, like a fairy tale. But there was a leader called YSR, Who reminded people that CM is looking towards your soil only, not towards you.. So Naidu lost and new style of politics born in India. But he gave enthusiasm to many rulers afterwards. When one started new initiative opposition pulled up their socks. Only exception was Gujrat, where industrial lands distributed with direct negotiation with owners & industrialist with unexpected pace.

For 30 years there was no initiative of industrialization in Bengal, but when took initiative government lost power. In Maharashtra & Haryana one party is taking land forcibly, where as same party is protesting for land acquisition in UP. Most sad part is responsible leaders taking irresponsible claim on lives of people. All political leaders have right to protest. If their protest makes people to get livelihood it is always welcome. But once you start politics with death it only reflects ill intention & betrayal to the progress of nation. Is it ever possible 74 people are being killed and burnt alive and the leader sitting just beside the spot demonstration. If there were 4 burnt bodies present the stink makes unbearable to be present there. But the prince is telling 74? Could he make a list of 74 missing persons from the village?  It only gives a reflection of dirty political culture we are indulging. Poet Biren Chatterji said,”Mati to aguner moto hobei,jodi tumi fashal falate na jano”(If you do not know how to harvest you soil will be like fire). Family of the same prince representing Raiberilly for generations and remained in the center of power mostly. Raiberilly is a place Where Poverty is 50%, NeoNatal deaths 8.3%, PerCapita expenditure Rs.385 & only 14% have electricity. “Ulanga Raja”(Naked king) always chose to play with plight of the poor men. When opportunity comes they try to ignite soil. There was an “Ulnga Raja” in West Bengal. His name was Jyoti Basu. He represented Satgachia as long he was Chief Minister. But condition of his constituency was the worst in West Bengal. When he understood people of his constituency are furious he left politics and last two election his party is losing from there miserably.  These Rajas remind me poet Niren Chakraborty,”Shobai dekhche Raja Ulanga,tabuo shobai Hattali dichche.Shobai chechie bolche Shabash Shabash”(Every body is seeing King is naked but clapping and Shouting with appreciation).

Now this is the time of New Raja in West Bengal. But the indications reflects that this Raja will be worse than anybody else.Now the time has come in West Bengal when every person will be judged by the color of shirt he is wearing. Is there any better person than Mr.Nirendra Chakrabory to head Bangla Academy?But he is leaving.Most likely Joy Goswami who is Mamatas good book will take over.It is not required to see whether one is capable or not but the color of shirt is important. Bratya Basuor Saoli Mitra  will surely take over Natya Academy from Mr.Ashoke Mukherji. Dr.Pabitra Sarkar has left as well.Once the Bengal was known for educated people,but not any more.Now they are known for whether he is having mobile number of particular leaders. Chief of Secondary education has left as well.So we are punishing our kids as well.New chief will ensure more Gandhan(including new Gandhis as well) article feature in course. Again after five years they will be removed. Raja(read Rani) has not taken oath but suddenly police finding huge arms from all over Bengal.It only showing that how Bengal is living on the mountains of amunitions. I am only getting “Batashe Baruder Gandha”(smell of phosphorus in air). After the arrest of their top commandant from Sarsuna in South Kolkata Home ministry  says now Maoists has taken shelter in Kolkata itself.  So no wonder Managing director of SPS group is getting threat call to leave Bengal. One by one Lux and other companies will be targetted in natural course,so we are ensuring a black period again. We are ensuring more & more jobless persons in Bengal which will create chaos. Bengal is deep in mud.We have forgotten respect soil first than party. But it reminds me a line from Ulanga Raja again,

“Shudhui prroshosti bakyo uchcharok kichu

apadmostok bhitu,fandibaj athoba nirbodh

stabak chilo na

ekti shishuo chilo

satyabadi,saral shahashi ekti shishu”

(There is not only opportunist,coward & plotter in the crowd,there is a as well  who is honest,simple,brave child who can see the truth”)

CMs & politics

It is said that be it drug or drink if you start to take it 2-3 days in a particular time, you make it a habit for rest of your life. I have started writing blog just few days back but seeing my readers’ record I find few of my friends knocking it every day. I thank you to all of you for slowly making it a habit.
I mix up with business persons and politicians of Kolkata for a reasonable period of time. There are lot of news floating regarding Mr.Chandan Bose, the permanent guilt of Mr.Jyoti Bose. I have heard Father was very ashamed from the childhood of his son. Neither son was good at study nor interested to toil hard to make himself big. Moreover Father remained to be disturbed for son’s relationship with ladies. Mr.Jyoti Basu had to use his power to save his son from police and laws number of times. But this man became millionaire during his fathers rule for 30 years. What is the secret behind it? He had a tie up with a leading businessman of Kolkata. He has business of three generations in Kolkata. He is very familiar face in Football circle of Kolkata. During Jyoti Basu’s tenure he presented himself as representative of many foreign countries in City. It is said that If anybody needed any work or business to be done he took brokerage of 4%.He channeled money to the secret accounts of Mr.Chandan Basu. Over the period of time accumulating amounts even Mr.Chandan Basu became Industrialists. Though Chandan was not able to run any business successfully. Pressure of Bank and new marital issue forced him to settle inLondon. Surprisingly the same middleman changed loyalty when Left made Budhdha CM and joined the group of opposition. He became important office bearer of the party which will create history of ruling the state for the first time in 35 years. So the good news for businessmen and investors inBengalis that Channel of negotiation with the government will be same as it was in Mr.Jyoti Basu’s regime. So “Pariborton” or change has not come inBengalreally.
In one of my previous blog I mentioned the similarity of Bengal & Punjab regarding partition and culture. Here I will say what I see similarity between Tamilnadu andBengal. You will see the politics of these two states are such that politics of rest ofIndiadoes not matter much.Bengal & Tamilnadu never voted as per the trend of rest ofIndiaduring sweeping wins of Indira,Rajiv. These two states feels isolated from rest. Why? I see politics of these two states highly dependent on politics of 2 neighboring countries, Bangladesh & Srilanka..Our Home ministers of present and past believe that intrusion of Bangladeshis causing law and order problem in many state. This has to be stopped. But inBengalstill thinkBangladeshis part of our own culture. Moreover a group called Matua in southBengal, which is predominantly of Bangladeshis, influence voting result in as many as 58 constituencies. So not very surprisingly all political parties attended in their convention, recently in Kolkata. Bangladeshi infiltrators influence results in Maldah,Balurghat and Murshidabad as well. Where as Tamilnadu politics revolve around plight of Srilankan Tamils. Any government indifferent to the status of Tamil in neighboring country faces sweet music in election. All the major national parties losing importance in both states. Last Assembly election & the present one proves thatBengalgetting Bipolar like Tamilnadu. Unless proper steps are taken by national parties it will remain to be same  & Government will change every five years. In both the states only leader of the party becoming important. Who is contesting for the party does not matter at all. It is definitely a change noticed. So I strongly believe Congress should follow DMDK model in Tamil Nadu.DMDK has chosen to sit in the opposition to expand its base in state and to deprive DMK the leader of opposition. If congress does that they will be able to save their organization inBengaland will be able to restrict left from taking leader of opposition.
To conclude a very spicy incident happened in Tamilnadu today during Jayalalitha’s oath taking ceremony. Jaya is strong believer of Astrology so she kept time as12.15 PMafter consulting them.The time is called “Abhijit” according to astrology. But the Governor came 20 minutes late. Astrologers are now saying that due to this delay Jaya’s term may end abruptly due to her health reasons. What will happen to these states and parties which are dependent on a single leader & not on organization?

Democracy?

I always try to see the events from little back. The death of YSR in Andhra Pradesh was the first incident of importance in recent times. YSR actually did a job which Mamata Banerjii has done in West Bengal.No body thaught Congress can ever unnerve the base of NT Rama Rao. Chandrababu Naidu took the heir of organizational good work of NTR & concentrated on industrialization. It gave Andhra Pradesh a strong financial base more so the dynamism of Naidu attracted people like Bill Gates from there. There was a time overseas investors came regularly to India not by the invitation of Govt of India but by the invitation of Naidu. Every industrialization dissatisfy the section of people and there also few farmers were dissatisfied & that gave Dr.YSR to launch movement. Within 4 years of starting agitation he did the impossible. Naidu was removed from power. In the next election as well he did not allow opponent to score points and defeated them.. Andhra was huge state then. Industry flowing was everywhere, so the agriculture. So within no time YSR became chief contributor in the party fund. Andhra surpassed Maharashtra & Karnataka. So he became one of the most powerful man in Congress.

Recently Congress party is giving VRS to their office staffs (those staffs not getting job elsewhere as they have worked in a political party office).Critics like me believe that Congress has earned so much black money starting from Bofors,Andeson’s release & series of scams 2G,CWG & Adarsh, they have enough money to run the show by not even remaining in power in Center or in states for 20 years.. But those money are black money, those money can not be disclosed to the Election Commission. So death of YSR caused havoc to the party fund. They were directly or indirectly in power since independence in Karnataka. Karnataka has industry as well Mining. When BJP came to power 3 years back that door got closed as well. They became heavily dependent on Maharashtra so “Adarsh” happened. They became desperate to get back Karnataka by any means. So they sent HM Bharadwaj as Governor of the State. He was law minister in UPA 1.He has to be removed after controversy of defreezing of Qutrochi A/c ordered. He was always a loyal man of Gandhi Family. Before him no such active political person was given that post. This post was meant for jobless political persons only. They had followed same policy against Gujrat,UP as well.But in Gujrat it has thrown them completely in back seat. It has hurt their credibility so much at least 10 years they will not return to power there. They have started to see the same reflection in Karnataka as well. Yedurappa has produced highest percentage of industrial growth; it has increased per Capita income as well. Karnataka Government has celebrated their 1000 days of power recently. After 1000 days they have won 3 by election. Within 1000 days they have won Nagar Nigam,Panchayat and Loksabha election. It is clearly visible that if assembly elections are held now other parties will be demolished as well. So the political Governor has only one motive to destabilize Government or impose President’s rule so that congress can regain donations, they used to get 1000 days back..

It is said that India is biggest democracy. Democracy which is party based &

not like Presidency based. I fail to understand where the positions of

Governors, members of Rajya Sabha & member of Bidhan Parishads come? It only give Government to manipulate powers. If at all these people are to remain they should be elected by the people as well. He has always won by the vote of his opponent political party CPIM. So it is understandable such leaders has obligation on political leaders but not on general mass. Only recently he is winning with help of Adhir Chowdhury. CBI is grossly misused by all political Goverments. CBI should report ot Supreme Court only. How come a leader of Regional party spend 1200 hours  in Helicopters before assembly election? Where 1 lakh fifty thousand is the hourly cost. There should be guidelines from Election commission that no political parties can accept donations in cash. Donations must come by the payment through cheque only. This suggestion was made earlier by CM of Madhya Pradesh Mr.Shivraj Singh Chauhan, but not taken action by EC.

Now the time has come to make these constitutional changes immediately. Only then such plays by Mr.Bharadwaj will be stopped.

But I assure you the lifestyle of Bengalis will change very first after this election. When Didi joined Railway ministry Indian railway had nearly 25000 Crore profit. She ensured all profits eaten up and this year when she presented budget, she mentioned that Railway needs money from Finance ministry. Yet she did not raise any fare only because she had eye on chair of Writers’ Building. Illustrated Weekly commented, if railway starts begging money from Finance Ministry then PM should stop Railway Minister to present budget in Parliament. God is great. Railway minister will not present budget next time as She has left Parliament for next five years. Left has ensured to eat up all money from exchequer of state; they do not have money to pay even salary and pension of Government employees yet they have not added any tax last year, nor have they allowed increasing fares of Buses for election. More than 50% prices of petrol is being increased in last two years. So the new government has no other alternative to increase fares of both Buses and Rail and due to inflation lifestyle will change like pace of “Karl Lewis”. This change was inevitable. We had nearly 60 lakh new voter this year and nearly 3 Crores voter have voted who never saw people of other Shirts in power. So they voted to change the color of Shirt.

I am an performer by blood. When I play on stage I always look for response of the Audience. I only get motivated as well when I see everyday the number of readers of  my blog is in increasing. I have written in my earlier blog that many posts are at stake after Assembly election. So called intellectuals of Bengal have divided themselves by “Ora” and “Amra”(We & they).Now even after election Ora have become Amra and vice versa. Seeing this divide many persons have died recently. Suchitra Mitra died,so Ramaprashad Banik.These are such stalwarts in Bengali culture that their void can not be filled up ever. But still many intellectuals not even appeared to show respect as they do not belong to any group.13 th of May when whole Bengal were glued on television to know who will enters Writers Badal Sarkar died. “Raja” who lost power and “Rani” who gained never mentioned even a word in the name of the great man. Probably they do not know the name even. I want how this transformation came in Bengal’s culture. Reputed Doctor Banaful had created record number short stories, We had Engineers like Narayan Sanyal & Badal Sarkar but you will not find any intellectual today in any of the group who are established in their own professional life. Only Dr.Pallab Kirtaniya was there but he has also left because of his ultra left connection.. Badal Sarkar Was a history maker of Bengali theater. He had created Bengali “Street theater”. I remember when we started acting we had no money to buy crops and stage theater in auditoriums. So many young people like me started acting with his shown way. Not only had we, hundreds of groups grown. At that time there were many competitions of street Drama as well in Kolkata. This had created many actors who are established in Bengali theater and Television industry today. But nobody went to pay last respect to him as he does not belong to any group. Not only the other version had he written Satire comedy for Proscenium which transformed stage acting in Kolkata. “Ballavpurer Rupkatha” is one of them. I am very sorry for the change.Mr.Sarkar you are unparalleled, entire community of Bengali actors will remember you for ages. Please forgive Bratyo Basu,Saoli Mitra & Bibhash chakrabortys..

I hope the “Amra” complete destruction of  culture soon  so that at least some sort of new cultural activity like “lal juto paye,boro didira chokh mele chai” (A trash Bengali song which had no meaning to say but played everywhere)starts soon.

1)     Government officers take bribes in their office but don’t forget to join fight against corruption. They only think Anna should get success after their retirement from earth. They do not forget to keep a document for his next generation so that they can propagate honesty
2)     Musician thinks his son gets success before their hairs turn gray.
3)     A teacher thinks his son gets better no. of tuitions, if he prefers to be a teacher, so that most income becomes tax free
4)     A factory worker of Bengal thinks his son’s factory never gets locked out during his Children’s time of work.
5)     A farmer thinks his son never commits suicide like him.
6)     A successful man thinks his children grab more property than he did in his life.
7)     A Police officer thinks his son gets posting in more profitable Police station than him
8)     An MLA thinks his son becomes CM ,An MP thins his son gets PM’s chair
9)     A small businessman thinks his sons will continue his created business..
10)Big Businessmen like Dhirubhai Ambani think his sons must get Pranab Mukherji as FM when his sons expands his empire.
11)Amitabh Bacchan thinks his son never become a MP or organise Beauty peagant competition in his entire career
12) Ritwik Ghatak thinks that people will remember his films only rather than his reputation for liquor intake.
13)Amartya Sen thinks his favorite student will implement his theories of economics in the state where he was born to justify his noble award..
14)Jyot Basu thaught people do not remember him as Chandan’s father.
15) Yedurappa thinks he will be remembered by his record percentage industrial growth in an so called industrial state rather than distributing a small piece of land to his son even after taking back from him.
 16)A promising CM thinks nobody will be able to fight with a banner of Ma Mati Manush  after her as she will not be “Ma”(Mother) anytime.
17)Leader of a ruling party thinks his son gets married soon & become father so that her grandson becomes the 6th Dynasty MP( after Son becomes fifth) from  Rae Bareli. Where Poverty is 50%, NeoNatal deaths 8.3%, PerCapita expediture Rs.385 & only 14% have electricity!

I have made mistakes much better times than anybody mentioned above but I am not apologetic at all.I have earned my mistakes and living with it.I can only say so because I have done that with dignity and honesty.

Let me tell my non Bengali readers that this line is from Rabindranath Thakur. This means “all my friends have many things to say from their mind but I am not allowed to express that.” I am one of the fools still existing in Bengal who are still hypnotized by the magnanimity of the great man’s creations. You will be probably surprised why I am saying that. I am 46 years old. I do not remember first six years of my life. So I can remember roughly 40 years. I can proudly say I do not remember a single year when I have not celebrated & remembered the great who created modern Bengali society on 25she Boishakh. Unfortunately the experience which I had yesterday was also never thought of to be happened in my life. Function at Rabindra Shadan had to be stopped due to unavailability of performers. Rabindra Shadan area experienced only few small stalls of few handicrafts & usual flow of young lovers. This is only the net result of division “amra” & Ora (We & They) among so called intellectuals in Bengal today. It gives me more pain as this should have been a year long gala celebration.I hope authorities got performers in the evening or late evening, since I had to leave for children’s performance at Nehru Children’s Museum.

Indeed a real “Change” coming up.I was thinking by the time these Children goes matured Ora & Amra will stop them as well.

Every culture of  the particular region is mostly influenced by history.We have 29 states in India today. Among them only 3 states experienced partition before independence by British rulers. Bengal Punjab & of course Kashmir.Bengal & Punjab had to be divide as those were producing maximum number of armed revolutionaries which were keeping British on their toes. They were scared, scared not because of of Law and order but the educational standard of the youth in struggle coming through. All were ideologically so strong that they can not be distracted by any means.Both the states were producing series of intellectuals who were influencing those youth by their writng, Above all among all intellectuals we had Rabindranath Tagore. Kazi Nazrul once wrote “Mathar opore royechen Robi”(We have Rabindranath like sun above our head).So they had to employ divide & rule. Since both “Ora & Amra “ are not being able to give any intellectual guidance to the youth they are carrying they want to wipe off the basic pillar of our culture..Devoid of intellectual base into any change results division in society and ultimately brings destruction.

I was stunned by some excellent performance by young kids. Blind boy Shubhrojit came across with real professional singing and Kids under Moloy Poddar presented recitation with a belief that we need an organization like Children’s Museum to protect these talents. Of course My daughter Sarupya also performed dance there. I hope she will have no influence of Ora & Amra like all other Children participated in function. But there also I experienced one change has taken place.Children performed dance on a remix song of “Uriye Dhwaja”.That performance took place in front of stalwarts of Tagore Foundation. I know Biswabharati has no right now. Anybody can introduce new track of music into it. Law can not catch you. My only request is that you have 300 days to make that experiment. Let 65 days to play Tagore’s original tune. When you hear those in 65 days you will understand that probably you are not clever enough to change those.

I was very skeptical about reality of the news at all. Because I do not find any reason to believe 2 countries USA & China.. Till date t5hey have not given any solid proof or picture which proves that. But after 3 days when I see reaction of Muslim countries, rulers of Pakistan & their friend China, most importantly few unimportant bites coming from Pakistan media; it certainly gives impression that he has died. But nobody could comprehensively prove that the house belong to his associate. No electricity bill, bill of any of the four gas connection the building got, neither the registration papers of land reflect anything. No localites ever seen him in 5 years but the US got information about him. It all sounds fishy. I have every suspicion that if the person has indeed died he nay have died elsewhere, another US operation but they are dramatizing this only to conform Obama wins forthcoming Presidential poll.

Since habitual ruler of the world US is celebrating, rest of the world following their joy. Indeed the news has huge significance to the terror map in India as well. Al quida directly gives training to the recruited terrorist by Let. India’s guest and captured terrorist Ajmal Kasab has got training from them. So it is evident fund of LeT came from the organization led by obama.The news will unnerve few of them and most importantly the leadership of Pakistan probably restrict their duplicity. If  Osama had the indirect connections with the terrors in India, the persons who has direct involvements enjoy huge hospitality there. Since India’s dictum is proved they should have taken offensive approach but our leadership taking opposite. When there should have been immediate cabinet decision of not having any peace talks they are saying they will continue to pursue talks. On the other hand internationally cornered Pakistan is showing offensive against India.I am sure India will not proceed a inch in this huge favorable condition of their fight against terror sponsored by our neighboring state. Moreover Intelligence of Mr.Chidambaram said the Let is supplying sophisticated arms to Maoists which is coming through China. But India governments except the one led by Mr.Bajpayee have peculiar principle of not attacking China at all. They do not still recognize China is the greatest threat for India.

India will not be able to do anything against Dawood and Masood Azhar & co. But the person who killed most in India is staying very near to New York.  Mr.Anderson is still enjoying happy life there after killing thousands in Bhopal. Clearly violating the law and the caution from authorities he vacated a city. Thousands are still suffering after losing their keens. They were deprived off their due compensation as well. India not even raising the issue that Anderson should be brought to justice as US has made to Osama. Clearly the deal which our Ex Prime Minister Rajiv,his associate & CM of MP Arjun Singh struck with US is saving him. It is a pity the nation of 130 crores is not raising voice against real killer of its citizens.Anderson & US has done more harm to our citizens than anybody else dead or alive.

India is deeply suppressed against corruption of 2G,CWG & Adarsh. Another potentially huge corruption on aircraft purchase is looming large..But sadly India dance with the news which is of lesser importance.Neither they take advantage of the situations to nab the real killers.

 So Osama is alright but kill the real killer,Anderson & Dawood.Then only Obama can expect any real cooperation from India.
