Arup Biswas was the previous MLA of the area,who is noted leader of the area.The person is best known as President of Suruchi Sangha,the club renowned for Durga Puja celebration. You will be happy to know that where Durga Puja is being held is the property of LIC.LIC has repeatedly asked & given letter to the club to vacate their property but the club refused to vacate that.After Trinamul's joining in UPAII they are pressurising LIC to donate the land to the club. They ar3e even asked Pranab to issue order on this. Why I am writing this because the MLA and his brother is renowned musclemen of that area.They have promised authorities of the school long back to donate money to them so that they can arrange land for them. Authorities are bound to be scared as they have seen plight of South Indian food store just beside them.
The school has a new Principal now.Lady has good spritual inclination which is adorable. After becoming principal he tried to introduce many extra curricular activities last year in school. But unfortunately all the programmes like music teaching,Dancing ,Table Tennis died unnaturally which started with much fanfare.This particular programme Tare Zameen Par is arranged particularly for arranging funds for school to please local political leader.Though the recent de limitation area now falls under Mr.Shovandev Chatterji of Rashbehari. Gurdians asked repeatedly why there is so much urgency to arrange the programme now including students of all three branches of school. Authorities refused to hear.It was unilateral decision of School to organise the programme now to please Arup Biswas. While the other schools are extending the time period of summer vacation,this school has reopened nearly one month before schedule for rehearsal of the programme.Teachers are aggrieved but country now runs on autocracy. Hours after hour the little kids of this school are giving rehearsal,not in school but in the ground of Calcutta Mint School's ground. It is god's blessings that more fatal something is not happened.Today students of both the brnaches of Behala Chowrasta and Newalipore got dehydrated and had to be admitted in CMRI hospital. Today President of Secondary Examination has told in one TV channel that he will visit school tomorrow and serve notice to authorities.But we all know that he can not take any action as local political leader has lot of interest behind this programme. It is absolutely shocking toto see that Child commission,human right commision and Woman's right people are also aware of the fact of inhuman treatment of authorities to students,but they are refusing to speak aut any concrete step to stop this programme. What is the problem of the schools to arrange such programmes in winter after annual examination? How much responsibility the authority will take if further more students gets ill.
I request all politicians to do politics outside school.Please don't pressurise little kids.Our kids are valuable.
