"Idol"less India

Within a couple of months country will complete 64th year of independence.There will be a seek long customary celebration in state capitals,opportunity for PM and CMs to address to the citizen.But the question will remain what we have produced in 64 years? Is there any politician who has emerged as idol to youth? Still we remember our freedom fighter who had lost lives,but we have have produced with those lost precious lives? Whatever the political beliefs we are having,it is true that we have lost opportunity of being independent politically. Youngsters have no idols after independence.
In international sports we do not participate in sports where whole world participate. People may say names like Sachin Tendulkar but he plays a sport which majority of the country does not know even. So as Ahinav Bindra & Rajyabardhan Singh Rathore. Fact is we have not excelled at all in sports map.
Only in cultural scenario we have produced 2 luminaries like Lata Mangeshkar and Amitabh Bachchan. Both these lives are reflection of rare fighting spirit. Lataji born in musical family and with poor financial condition but fought back with determination from very young age.She could not even marry due to different social adversities but never disappointed her fans to create inexplicable. His life shows what social barrier exists in India & shows strength of determination.
Life of Mr.Bachchan or Mr.Srivastava is being the center of center of discussion in different media.Born in a familly of poet,he started from zero as a salesperson in Kolkata.But he had 2 assets golden voice and dream to be an actor. He had no physical appearance as hero but none deterred him from trying. Seeing his popularity politicians advised him to be a leader. He did the wrong thing for the first time,as he did not know our politicians were only utilizing his name for being popular. He had to resign and became penniless by trying to organise beauty pageant show in India. Amitabh Bachchan became bankrupt and nobody had any hope that this man can regain him anymore.He had to stop his son's study even.Political persons who were his friends deserted him like anything.Media were comical against him. Even I remember wehad produced a drama called "Gopal Boro Mathamota".A comical representation of actors becoming politicians. We performed in different all India stage got rewards for that production.But he fought back through his friend Anil Ambani and "Kaun Banega Crorepati".The way he fought back and regained high position of respect will be remembered for a long time.His humbleness & respect for religion shows many that what religious beleif can do.. His life is portrayal of determination,humbleness and family bonding.
But the question remains how long India will continue to exist without any idol to follow? When society becomes bankrupt,a smell of revolt comes.Are we getting the smell?
