Foolish movement changed everything

http://paper.li/Bunibroto/1309952288/2011/10/29

On 2006,New government in Bengal took oath and CM expressed desire to bring investment in state. Their vision was clear. They wanted land nearby to National highway to reduce cost of conveyance. They wanted 1000 acre of land to accommodate all the subsidiaries manufacturing spare parts in the same campaus to reduce time and expense.Their logic was clear but intellectuals of Bengal headed by super intellectual “Dramaqueen” starts protesting for giving 1000 acre of land. As if she is having much experience on running auto company she declared 600acre is enough to establish plant. A set of headless intellectual like singer Kabir Suman was first to join her. Most funny thing is this Maoist backed singer is the most likable enemy of all intellectual TMC supporters.

Congress had not joined their struggle that time as left was their parner. They resisted their workers.  She has not disclosed yet who had funded her that callous movement as her party had only one MP that time and understandably no known big industrialist herself with big money power.

Tata Group supremo Ratan Tata blamed competitors on 27.122006 for “fueling” the fire in the controversy over the proposed Rs 1-lakh car project at Singur in West Bengal, but resolved not to pull out of the state.Asked whether the Tatas were apprehensive about the growing controversy and would consider moving the project to another state, Tata said his group would not surrender to political pressure.
“No, if I believed that we are doing something wrong, then I would be the first one to pull out. If I believe, that this is being manipulated and turned around to meet some specious cause, then I think, what I would do is to dig my heels in.
I’m the sort of person who if you put a gun to my head, you can pull the trigger or take the gun away, but I won’t move my head.” Ratan Tata emphasized.

26th august 2008 speculations started all around that Tata is leaving Bengal. I remember on those days when I talked about this stupid movement those fool intellectuals were abusing like anything with very polite languages. They were quickly pointed out as CPM’s men. Those who are not acquainted with shameless politics of Mamata Banerji, please be informed, that this intellectual always call “CPM’s men” whoever disagrees her.You can ask only living cofounder of TMC apart from Ms.Bannerjii., who has left TMC..They repeatedly insisted that Tatas will never go out of Bengal.
After meeting Shri Narendra Modi Shri Ratan Tata got land within 3 days.Tata described him as most dynamic CEO he has ever seen.On 8thOctober 2008 Modi Wins as Gujarat Gets Tata’s Nano Plant   Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi stood by as Tata announced the relocation of its Rs 2,000-crore Nano project to Gujarat from Singur in West Bengal. Nano, the revolutionary small car from Tata Motors has a new home. The chairman of the Tata Group Ratan Tata on Amid smiles and exchange of bouquets, the Tatas inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the form of a ‘state support agreement’ at the Sachivalay premises at Gandhinagar. The Tatas will set up the ‘mother plant’ for the Nano on 1,100 acres at Sanand, about 35 kilometers from Ahmedabad. Members of the state cabinet and senior officials of the Tata group were present during the signing of the agreement..
Close ties with Congress leader Shankersinh Vaghela – Modi’s bete noire – did not deter Ravubha from selling his land and persuading other farmers in four villages to part with nearly 3,500 acres, so that Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation, or GIDC, could develop the auto hub. “We wanted to show how different the outlook of Gujarati farmers was from those in West Bengal,” he adds in English laced with a mix of Hindi and Gujarati.

After Tata moved out,the intellectual lady suddenly became proindustrialist.Pitching herself as a pro-industry, pro-development leader in the backdrop of Singur where she was blamed for forcing the Nano project out of the state, railway minister Mamata Banerjee plans 10 auto hubs across the country that would be revenue generating projects for the railways. Of the 10 hubs, Banerjee sayid on 15th November,2009 “two could come up in Satragacchi and Shalimar in West Bengal where the railways already have land to spare”. November 15,2009 Where are those lands Ms.Banerjii.The company you have kicked out ensured most preferred auto hub is established in Gujrat..5 companies already joined there.,where is your auto hub? Other Auto hub existed in Chennai ,but nobody wants to go there now because of power problem. Gujrat has excess power & sells to other state.

Three years later, not only is Tata Motors’ Nano plant up and running, but two other global auto majors - Ford Motor and PSA Peugeot Citroen- plan to invest Rs 4,000 crore each to set up car factories in the area. The impact is already visible in Sanand and nearby villages: with the Rs 1,600 crore that farmers have got for their land, they have bought luxury cars, built big houses, bought large tracts of land at some distance from their villages, and invested the rest in the 12 new bank branches which have opened in the area in the past year. Buisness Today  mentioned on 16th October 2011.Today Maruti Chief praised Narendra Modi for his governance and intention to build industry in Gujrat.Incidentally this decision has also come in a day when Maruti’s profit share has gone down to 60% due to labor problem in their plant situated at Congress ruled State Haryana..

My salute to Mr.Narendra Modi for his dynamism and vision but the auto hub at Gujrat which is laughing at us is the creation of those intellectuals of Bengal who has kicked on the Belly of Lakhs of Bengalis by letting Nano go out of Bengal.

What is Mamata’s gain today is Bengal's loss. Simultaneously what is Bengal’s loss today is Gujrat’s gain.
