The Loksabha constituency where she gets elected every year,that is South Kolkata. This seat was won by Dr.Shymaprashad Mukherjii in the first general election in 1950. That constituency still give BJP considerable no.of votes but her personal attachment to this constituency is huge.So nobody beaten her since she left Jadavpur..Even when her party had lost all other seat she managed to hold her seat in with reasonable margin.I never seen her spending MP Lad fund in useful purpose but an anti left constituency with her personal appeal returned her prestige always. Now the seat will be vacant.She is contesting assembly election for the first time.So,South Kolkata seat is vacant now and very soon one can expect new election will be declared. I am very sure the picture of this Parliamentary constituency will start to change now from now onward. Because she does not have any reasonable vision for which people votes there but people votes as strong voice of anti left and she lives within that constituency only.

We have a very funny quote in Bengali which says,"Dhenki swarge geleo Dhan bhange".Which means the manual machine which process grown up paddy to rice,never forgets its work when it is out of order. So Mamata never forgot as well. Bengal has 294 assembly seatsmwhere present statistics says her party TMC won 184 seats,Congress(Her ally) won 42m,left Front got 62 and parties from North Bengal won 5.So she had 231 seats to chose from where she will stand for election. But she forced one Minister to resign from Bhawanipur.Since Bhawanipur constituency after delimitation consists Khiddepore area.Which has  largest population for Muslims in Kolkata.After getting into power she was devoted to prove herself as Muslim. Despite Home Ministry and Human resource ministry's report about Madrasas not following national educational system & indulging anti-national activities she has regularized 10000 Madrasas. She even attended 15th August Parade wearing Muslim dress. So she is bent on proving that She is Muslim. So she decided Bhwanipore is her destination to remain Muslim. So her brand of politics,indulging communal methodology remains constant.Could we conclude now that Ms.Banerji trust minority better than majority section of the society? Now nobody can have even slightest doubt that she will win from the seat.
