Politics is in the Indian blood.India is best doing this anywhere.They can vitiate working atmosphere in office,break family,break club,build new political party in every alternate day & even spoil sportsmen by dismantling their national sport's association. I have worked extensively in "Group theater" in eighties."Group theater" is more or less a voluntary organisation who perform theater on social causes. I have seen groups breaking frequently on directorial issue. I will not embarrass you.asking which is our national sports. Most people do not know that.Only hint I can give you that player of national sport gets Rs.50000 on winning trophies while other sportsmen gets Rs.2 Crore in similar achievement. Our national sportsmen are not guaranteed to get a job & corporate never asks them to act for commercials.. Yes I am sure you have guessed it right now.
So forget about national sports,Indias premiers sports is the game which is played by hardly 20 countries in the world.But still players are the richest than players of the most popular game of the world.In this India getting a BCCI job is more valuable than being Prime Minister of the country. So If BCCI President happens to be a Food minister,PM never asks him why price of Onion or sugar cane is out of control.So one has to be good politician to get entry in BCCI. But India is not the world Champions in the game. West Indies has proved repeatedly that they are world Champions in the field. They have successfully downgraded their team from formidable number one to a most ordinary number ten.They have ensured good players will not get chances in national team.So by the process people do not ask them why the player,who does not deserve place in the team becomes captain.
I named this body as "Best Corrupt Consortium of India" but the actual name is Board of cricket control in India..I am very keen follower of the person s stays there.When I was younger I have seen how a captain of the national side became millionaire here.Eventually police of other country nailed him.He was banned and eventually BCCI had no option of one named "Sourav Ganguly".This man followed his own rule and created a world beating side accumulating players from all sides of the vast country.Apart from contemporary greats he was carrying bunch of young legs,he continuously gave reasonable confidence to the youngsters thus created few names like Zahir,Yuvraj,Viru and Yuvraj.He lifted the side in peak but BCCI ensured that Captain is kicked out of the team. Most surprisingly the young names which were proved to be sensation,never asked to lead the side.Somebody else awarded the position..Those greats created by the earlier Captain continued to contribute to bring win from opposition.But the new captain got all the credits.It became rule of BCCI that others can not be captain nor the new captain can be axed.
But there was a man ,extremely emotional & unnecessarily neglected man called Harbhajan waiting for this opportunity.The highest wicket taker in the present bunch of cricketers,who is kept out of the Indian side in headless manner.The reputed present captain has just came back from England by losing in shameless manner.Captain said number of match winning players were not in the team,so the team lost. His team in this Cricket league was complete & not a single player was missing. On the othe hand Harbhajan had a depleted side where most senior players were injured. He led the team in dynamic way , defeated all obstacles including team of Indian captain. It doesn't matter what will happen in the evening today,but he has proved,excuses of not having key players do not work.If you have dynamism and vision you can win it.
So I am singing "Bhajan" for our unsung Hero Harbhajan today and praying that BCCI regain senses and make him captain of Indian side.
