The twin solar power plant that has 30-MW solar power generation capacity divided in two units of 15 MW each has been set up by Moser Baer with an investment of Rs 450 crore.
Clearly with the vision, Gujrat moving ahead with renewable energy and not by the high cost nuclear power for development of the state.
Gujrat is the heart of the Diamond industry. The industry which suffered jolt during recession in 2008 and still in the stage of recovering. He was speaking to industry leaders in Surat.He hinted collaboration ofSurat’s diamond industry and Morbi’s watch industry for development a new business of diamond watches. Speaking at GJEPC awards function, Shri Modi asked diamond industry barons to become owners of diamond mines abroad and dominate the diamond trade globally. Modi said such ownership will end the problem of rough diamonds.
