I came across this article from Mr.V.S.Gopalakrishnan.The link of his article is http://tinyurl.com/69qaf5g . Suprisingly this article was written on 25t January 2011. The irony is whether it is grandfaher or son or the grand son mysterious killing in Kashmir continues with the permission of ruler Abdullahs since independence. Every time killings took place they have got unconditional support from Nehruvian congress.
If you go into few points written by Mr.Gopalkrishnan you will find “Unfortunately, under the mismanagement of Nehruji while the Special Status was conferred on J.and K., the PM of that State was conferred the power to refuse the entry of any Indian into that State. Even the President of India had to take the State PM’s permission to enter the State. But Shyama Prasad set foot into that State in protest against such ridiculous Special Status, on 11 May 1953. He was arrested by the State Government. He was lodged in some dilapidated building. He was not even tried. He died as a detaintion on 23 May 1953.” You will wonder why it is written PM of the state as it was the special term,Chief minister of J&K was called during Nehru days.I had discussed about Dr.Mukherji in my blog before http://tinyurl.com/6xqck2l.I had written there how that enemity was all about. Sardar Ballav Bhai Patel and Dr.Mukherji was always in fighting with Nehru regarding our policy towards Pakistan.They were worried about minorites in Pakistan and continuous killing of Hindus in Pakistan and Pundits in Kashmir. But Nehru was keen on staying as Prime Minister, not understanding plight of Hindus. Liaquat Ali Khan came to India and after 6 days of discussion with Nehru and The Liaquat–Nehru Pact was signed on April 8, 1950. Both leaders were aggrieved against special status given to J&K. He asked Shaikh abdulllah ““May I ask-was not Sheikh Abdullah party to this Constitution? He was a Member of the Constituent Assembly; but he is asking for special treatment. Did he not agree to accept this Constitution in relation to the rest of India, including 497 States. It is good enough for all of them, why should it not be good enough for him in Kashmir? “ He asked “Let Sheikh Abdullah declare that he accepts the Sovereignty of this Parliament There cannot be two Sovereign Parliaments in India You talk of Kashmir being a part of india, and Sheikh Abdullah talks of a Sovereign Parliament for Kashmir It is inconsistent It Is contradictory This Parliament does not mean a few of us here who are opposing this. This Parliament includes a majority of people who will not be swayed by any small considerations. And why should he be afraid of accepting the Sovereignty of this Parliament of Free India ?” That is why this enemity was all about.
Cruelty of Dr.Mukherji’s death was evident in the minds of Abdullahs. Gopalakrishnan writes “Mookerjee went to visit Kashmir in 1953, and observed a hunger strike to protest the law that prohibited Indian citizens from settling in a state within their own country and mandated that they carry ID cards. He was arrested on May 11 while crossing border into Kashmir.
Thereafter, he was jailed in a dilapidated house. Shyama Prasad had suffered from dry pleurisy and coronary troubles, and was taken to hospital one and a half months after his arrest due to complications arising from the same. He was administered penicillin despite having informed the doctor-in-charge of his allergy to penicillin, and he died on May 23, 1953.
Mother of Dr.Mukherji Jogmaya Devi wrote to Nehru abut all round suspicion and demanded enquiry but Nehru not even instituted single enquiry and declared that there is no suspicion in Shyamaprashad’s death.
What omar is doing is the repeat of the history written by his grandfather and his friend Rahul is doing is the same what father of his grandmother did. The family of the National Conference party worker who died allegedly in police custody on September 30 has now said he was tortured at the residence ofJammu and Kashmirchief minister Omar Abdullah. The post-mortem report, however, said Yusuf died of cardio-respiratory failure and that there were no external injuries on his body. Deceased party worker Syed Mohammad Yusuf’s son Syed Talib told ” the torture marks had been captured on camera during the funeral. “It seemed as if somebody had repeatedly punched him in the face,” he said. It is known for the whole world General secretary of congress was present there to give tactical inputs to Omar when Mercy petition was raised in assembly and party was very prompt to stand firm behind Omar after the death took place.
These Abdullas were mum when Kashmiris Pudits were systematically thrown out of the state leaving behind their properties..These dynasty is serial killers and Family of Nehru always supprt these killings. Special status of J&K should be cancelled and proper inquiry should be instated for all killings since independence. It should be inquired why the Ex PM of POK visited Abdullas few days back.Since US is considerably weakened now,it is high time for India to free J&K from divisive forces.
