Our Indira Nooyi today pushed back to no.2 position after 5 years of leading the world.Yes, Indira Nooyi is dislodged by Irene Rosenfield ,CEO of Krafts. Corporate world is very complex and more complex is the mindset of Indians. Can you imagine an Indian woman of just 51 years became CEO of one of the most prestigious company.Year after year Forbes has declared Indira Nooyi as most powerful woman in the US Industry.Five year she ruled the world but we never thought even to award special prize or award to the wonder lady? Probably that is the reason India does not rule the world. Time has shown us that we have both natural as well as human treasure in the country but we were not taught to respect them. To lead the company like Pepsico is itself an honor.To lead at the age of 51 it is stupendous. To lead Pepsico at the age of 51 being a woman is a pride of the nation where she belong to?

Does it show one more time that we do not give respect to the leadership quality of the person.Today I was reading an article by Mr.Shashi Shekhar in Rediff.He expressed surprise over the reason accountability becoming an obsolete word in India. When you lead ,you are always judged by the yardstick of performance. Accountability is the word always used in corporate world but in India We never teach children to win. We never insist that he or she will have to be winner. We always give individuals more respect than the nation or team? That is why we fight to award Sachin as Bharatratna.But the name of 5 time World Champion Viswanathan Anand or Indira nooyi are never come for discussion. Does leadership has become so cheap in India. 

I only want life & achievement of current successful people should be in curriculum Then only they will learn to pay respect true leaders of society

Indra Nooyi was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She completed her schooling from Holy Angels AIHSS, Chennai. She received a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Madras Christian College in 1974 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta in 1976. Beginning her career in India, Nooyi held product manager positions at Johnson & Johnsonand textile firm Mettur Beardsell. She was admitted toYale School of Management in 1978 and earned a Master's degree in Public and Private Management.  Today all Indian Media is full of Indira’s news as she is dislodged from the position and gone back to only one position. I only say Indira, you are the proud of India.Please teach our children as you teach your own 2 children what leadership is. India needs leaders like you.India needs people who respect accountability.

Indira is born on 28^th October 1955 and passed from IIM ,Kolkata. I am more proud as you are little bit attached to Kolkata as well.A thousand salute to you and come back to no.1 again next year.
